In 1986, Challenger Seven Memorial Park was named in honor of the seven NASA astronauts who lost their lives on the Challenger Space Shuttle. Within the park, there is a memorial commemorating the loss of these heroes.
Challenger Seven Memorial Park’s pavilions can be reserved. Additionally the park offers a bird sanctuary and an elevated boardwalk. You can go canoeing, fishing or just take in the beautiful views of Clear Creek or the 3-acre lake.
