Project Description:

This project makes a number of important improvements to Tidwell Road from just west of Greens Bayou to CE King Parkway:

Expands the roadway from 2-lanes to 4-lanes with a median and left turn lanes at intersection
Re-constructs a safer bridge over Greens Bayou
Improves intersections at John Ralston and CE King Parkway
Improves drainage to reduce flooding
Constructs wide sidewalks to keep pedestrians and bicyclists safe

Construction will last about 28 months. Please use caution in the area while construction crews improve this area.

Project Benefits:

Constructs a safer roadway for people driving, walking or biking.
Replaces the bridge over Greens Bayou, which was damaged during Hurricane Harvey
Improves drainage along Tidwell
