TSU: CLEBURNE STREET – Ennis St. to Scott St.

Project Updates:

Construction for this project official broken ground on February 6. Please use caution in the area while construction crews improve the neighborhood streets and sidewalks.

Construction on Phase One, which includes Cleburne Street between Ennis and Tierwester Street, will last about a year. Phase Two, which includes Cleburne Street from Tierwester to Scott Street will take about 7 months and will begin after design and an environmental review process are completed.

Phase II will also include improvements along Blodgett, Tierwester and Rosedale Streets.

Project Description:

Harris County Precinct One, in partnership with the City of Houston and Texas Southern University, will reconstruct a 1.2-mile portion of Cleburne Street. The project will incorporate shared-use paths and other street enhancements to improve the experience and safety of all users.
