Precinct One conducted a public meeting on February 5 at Klein Intermediate School to gather feedback and answer questions from the community.

Project Description:

Precinct One is proposing to begin a project this fall which would bring new sidewalks, shared-use paths and a bikeway along W. Mount Houston Road from Bold Forest to W. Montgomery, W. Montgomery Road from Breen to W. Gulf Bank and TC Jester Boulevard from SH 249 to W. Montgomery.

Project Benefits:

Sidewalks andbikeways are an important part of making our transportation network safer forpeople of all ages and abilities, especially for kids getting to schools alongW. Mount Houston.

This project would construct:

Widersidewalks that are safer and provide better access to bus routes
Shared-usepaths for both pedestrians and people on bikes
Abikeway that is safer for people of all ages and abilities.
Newcrosswalks for safely crossing the street.
