Our Barbara Jordan Community Center is named after the former U.S. Representative and State Senator. Barbara Jordan grew up in Houston’s Fifth Ward and was a tireless advocate for her community, rising to the top of her field while breaking down racial and gender barriers.

The Barbara Jordan Community Center is a great place for community members to gather and have meetings, events, small parties, etc. Whether you need a room for your club to brainstorm your next move or an auditorium to share your ideas and inspire others, the Barbara Jordan Community Center has the space you need.
