PROJECT BENEFITS:
Sidewalks and bikeways are an important part of making our transportation network safer for people of all ages and abilities, especially for kids getting to schools along West Mount Houston Road.
Improvements to West Mount Houston, West Montgomery, and TC Jester would construct:
- Wider sidewalks that are safer and provide better access to bus routes
- Shared-use paths for both pedestrians and people on bikes
- A bikeway that is safer for people of all ages and abilities.
- New crosswalks for safely crossing the street.
