PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Pedestrian pathways and trails can connect communities and keep people safe. A new pedestrian bridge over Brays Bayou near Braes Blvd. and Stella Link will improve access to recreational opportunities, schools, and other neighborhood destinations.
PROJECT BENEFITS:
A new pedestrian-bike bridge over Brays Bayou will:
- Expand recreational opportunities by improving the connection between surrounding communities and the Brays Bayou Greenway
- Create safer opportunities for students to walk or bike to neighborhood schools
- Improve access to nearby parks, libraries, businesses and other local destinations
