PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This project will improve approximately 3.8 miles of sidewalk along Airline Drive to enhance the pedestrian experience and improve safety. Improvements will include the widening and replacement of existing sidewalks, landscaping on both sides of Airline Drive and access management improvements through the use of raised medians. This project also includes transit stop enhancements in coordination with METRO for the proposed BOOST corridor along Airline Drive. Street lighting will be evaluated to determine need and feasibility of improvements.
