BLACK HISTORIC LANDMARKS BIKE RIDE

REGISTER HERE - this ride will have a maximum of 30 participants

Commissioner Rodney Ellis and the Harris County Precinct One RideONE bike program invite you to join us for a four-hour, 20-mile Black Historic Landmarks Bike Ride. Celebrate Black History Month by cycling on Precinct One's bikeways. The ride will be a loop around Houston with visits to important landmarks such as Brays Bayou Trails, Bill Coats Bridge, Hermann Park, Houston Zoo, Mickey Leland Statue, Miller Outdoor Theater and many more locations.

The ride will begin and end in the parking lot of the Precinct One El Camino Annex at 2727 El Camino Street, Houston, Texas 77054

BIKE RIDE RULES:

  • All riders must sign a waiver which will be provided in the Community Portal when you register
  • Spaces are limited so be sure to sign up early!
  • If you have a bike and helmet feel free to bring them
  • If you do not, RideONE will provide both for FREE. Please arrive 30-60 minutes prior to the ride to be fitted for a bike and safety gear
  • Dress comfortably and for the weather. Don't forget to bring water!

COVID SAFETY:

COVID: Your safety is a priority to us. All participants must follow COVID protocol, including a temperature scan before all rides. Masks are recommended before and after in group settings.
